What Lambda PDF Basic does not include
Lambda PDF Basic is focused on everyday PDF work. So that you can decide before you buy, these are not part of it:
- Not included: OCR (recognizing text in scanned images)

Questions about features
It edits text that the PDF already contains as text. Pages that are scanned images have no text to edit, and Lambda PDF Basic does not include OCR to recognize it.
Yes. Everyday PDF work runs on your computer. Activation is online, and editing features need an occasional online check; viewing, printing, and saving never do.
No. Editing, merging, splitting, annotating, compressing, signing, printing, and saving are designed to run locally. A document is only ever sent if you choose a file and confirm it in a separate, cancellable step.
