The list of available packages is signed, carries an increasing serial number, and expires, so an old or altered list is rejected.

Lambda PDF Basic is not available to download yet.
Lambda PDF Basic is coming soon for Windows. When downloads open, you will install one small signed installer, sign in, and let it verify and install the application. Eigenexis Systems has not released an installer, so any file presented as a Lambda PDF Basic download is not an official release.

Installation
How installation will work

Download one small signed installer from this website.

Sign in with your Eigenexis account. The installer reads a signed release list and your signed licence.

The installer downloads Lambda PDF Basic and verifies it before installing: its signature, declared size, and SHA-256 hash must all match.

Updates within the version you own arrive through the same verified path.

Verification
Verified downloads and updates
The installer verifies everything it downloads. This design is specified and implemented, and it will be qualified before launch.
Verified before anything runs
Downloads are untrusted until their size, SHA-256 hash, and signed package statement are checked. Nothing is executed or loaded before that.
Safe, transactional installs
Installs and updates are applied as one transaction. If one is interrupted, it is rolled back, and your documents and settings are never touched.
Resumable downloads
A download can resume after a dropped connection and is verified again before use.

The official installer and packages will be signed and verified before installation. There is no official download yet, so any file presented as a Lambda PDF Basic download today is not an Eigenexis release.
